Semi-Custom FAQ
Semi-custom is the “sweet spot” between Private Label and Custom OEM. It allows you to take our lab-tested, market-proven master formulas and customize the shade, scent, and packaging at an accessible MOQ of just 500 units.
First, order the Discovery Kit to test the textures. Second, confirm your shade, scent, and packaging choice. Third, we produce a digital mockup and final prototype for your approval. Finally, bulk production begins!
The MOQ is 500 units per color if you use our standard shades and standard vanilla scent. If you wish to customize a specific Pantone color or inject a unique scent, the MOQ is 1,000 units per color.
Once you approve the final sample and payment is made, bulk production for Semi-Custom orders typically takes 4-6 weeks. This is significantly faster than the 3-6 months required for full OEM R&D.
You can purchase our Semi-Custom Discovery Kit immediately to test all textures and standard shades. For custom scents or colors (Pro Tier), we will create a specific lab prototype for your approval before bulk manufacturing begins.
Our in-house perfumer will work directly with you! You can either send us a benchmark scent, or describe your desired notes. We will formulate the fragrance, mix it into the lip base, and send you physical prototypes for your final confirmation.
